Performing Architecture 2014

Performing Architecture 2014

For the Architecture Biennal in Venice we created the visual identity of »Performing Architecture«, a series of events curated by the Goethe-Institut. An eye-catching collage combines a songbird with a pair of human arms in order to visualise the principle themes: sound, performance, dance and nature in- and outside the German Pavilion. Fullbleed rose was used to envoke the facades of Venice. The paper brings to mind another, very sensual and tactile connection to the city: Shiro Alga Carta is produced by using the damaging algal blooms of the Venice lagoon.
