In 1800, Alexander von Humboldt took an important research trip along the Orinoco in South America. Therefore a map of the driver drawn by him is an essential element of the packaging of the Humboldt Kaffee Manufaktur. The original map is in a Kraków library, it was digitized specifically for this project. On the packaging, the map creates a bridge to the filling quantity of the coffee bags: the Orinoco is 2,250 km long, the filling quantity of a bag is 225 g. The bags do not have an inner aluminum layer and are 100 % recyclable. The background color petrol stands for the espresso roasts, the cream tone for the filter roasts.
