mischen created the art publication »Personal View« to accompany Susanne Wehr’s exhibition, which was part of the »Month of Photography« at the Berlinische Galerie. For her catalogue the artist organized and categorized photographs from different legacies. Each category is represented by one picture complemented by two texts from two different authors. Through this method the correlation between image and explanation is called into question. Which one of the two texts tells the true story? Are both of them ficticious? Or are both versions equally valid perspectives on what can be seen? We are confronted with questions of this kind in our daily life when reading the news, which is why the publication was convieved and designed like a newspaper.
